WATCH: Bernie backtracks on Sandy Hook comments

Today, Bernie Sanders said Sandy Hook victims should be able to sue gun manufacturers for the 2012 elementary school shooting that killed 20 students and six adults, backtracking on previous comments. “Of course they have a right to sue, anyone has a right to sue,” he said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union.”

But last week, Sanders in an interview with the New York Daily News said the Sandy Hook family members should not have the right to sue gun manufacturers for damages. “No, I don’t,” he said, in response to a question from the editorial board.

I like Bernie. I know a lot of progressives like him, too. But to pretend this is not a complete flip flop, the kind Hillary Haters condemn Clinton for, is crazy.
