Another mass shooting. This time, San Bernardino, California.

The right is already blaming ISIS or Syrian refugees for the latest mass shooting incident — this one at a facility that helps the developmentally disabled in San Bernardino, California.

The left is blaming white Christian terrorists, like Robert Deal who targeted Planned Parenthood in Colorado Springs last week.

So who will win today’s blame game?

Here’s what we know so far.

The shooting took place in a building that is open to the public, officials have said. Apparently, a group was holding an event or party inside the building that was targeted.

Federal law enforcement sources, who requested anonymity because the investigation is active and ongoing, said that the group holding the party, rather than the center, may have been targeted.

During a news briefing, San Bernardino Police Chief Jarrod Burguan said information about the party was “preliminary” and declined to comment on a motive for the shooting.

“We have no information at this point to indicate that this is terrorist related, in the traditional sense that people may be thinking,” Burguan said. “Obviously, at a minimum, we have a domestic terrorist-type situation that occurred here.”

Reports from the scene say there were at least three shooters who have gotten away in a black or dark-colored SUV.
