“No more baby parts!” said the Colorado Planned Parenthood shooter

A motive in the Planned Parenthood clinic shooting remains unclear, but sources say the suspect talked about politics and abortion, made the comment, “no more baby parts!” and also talked about President Obama.

Yesterday, when I suggested the shooter was targeting Planned Parenthood, I was attacked by many right wingers on Twitter and got a few threats. It would appear they have something in common with the shooter: a willingness to commit violence to enforce their views.

NBC news reports:

Robert Lewis Dear, a North Carolina native who was living in a trailer in Colorado, made statements to police Friday at the scene of the Colorado Springs clinic and in interviews that law enforcement sources described as rantings.

In one statement, made after the suspect was taken in for questioning, Dear said “no more baby parts” in reference to Planned Parenthood, according to two law enforcement sources with knowledge of the case.

  1. Remember, abortion is a cardinal sin. Therefore anyone associated with a Planned Parenthood clinic is a sinner. These sinners must be stopped at all costs.
And if the local police protect these sinners, then they too are guilty in the eyes of the Lord.

In short, the gunman has taken up a righteous cause … because as Marco Rubio, Mike Huckabee, Ben Carson, Teddy Cruz, Rick Santorum, Michele Bachmann, Rick Perry, and Sarah Palin have reminded us on numerous occasions, Biblical law outweighs governmental laws.

Let’s hold every one of these sanctimonious theocrats accountable for this assertion — may each of them choke on it!
