Paul Ryan laments gridlock, then immediately rules out ever working with Obama

New U.S. House of Representatives Speaker Paul Ryan said today it would be ridiculous to work with President Obama on immigration policy reform.

This, after lamenting the gridlock in Washington DC and urging Democrats and Republicans to work together to change America’s image of Congress as a group of squabbling children who never get anything done.

Once again, it seems that by “work together,” Paul Ryan really means Democrats need to become Republicans and agree with everything they want. There will be no movement the other way.
