“A dog would have gotten more attention.”

Texas cops watched a man bleed to death after shooting him.

Charles Goodridge was left unaided as police officers waited for an ambulance after they shot him in 2014.

Dashcam video shows that deputies did not try to stop the bleeding after calling for an ambulance. They just watched.

Goodridge’s mother told The New York Times, “He was shot twice, bleeding, and nobody did anything. I don’t think that if he was white they would have just left him like that. A dog would have gotten more attention than he did.”

To make matters worse, officials initially contacted an ambulance company that did not serve that area. A dispatcher also gave the wrong address to the second ambulance company.

Goodridge died an hour after making the 30 mile trip to the hospital.
