It is slowly becoming apparent the world did not end.

I love this line: “As the clock struck 12 in timezones around the globe, turning Wednesday into Thursday, it became apparent that the planet had not been destroyed.”

It’s almost as good as this line: “The leader of a Christian group who claimed that the world would end on Wednesday has admitted his prediction was ‘incorrect’.”

Chris McCann, head of the eBible fellowship, warned that the planet would be destroyed “with fire” on October 7. Just a quick check of the calendar and then my body and all physical objects near me…. Yep, all still here.

“Since it is now 8 October it is now obvious that we were incorrect regarding the world’s ending on the 7th,” McCann said. You don’t say?

Every single prediction by every single religion and cult of the date of the world’s end has turned out, so far, to be wrong. At what point do you think it’ll dawn on these idiots what a literal waste of time it is?

So what of eBible Fellowship, the latest to have its doomsday prediction go up in smoke? The group is not deterred. McCann says they’ll try again.
