Right wing poll shows Donald Trump taking a hit

Donald Trump bad hair

Rasmussen is a conservative-leaning poll, and its latest shows Donald Trump taking a big 9-point hit after the GOP primary debate and the controversy over his sexist attacks on Megyn Kelly.

Granted, other polls show Trump maintaining his lead, and this Rasmussen poll is either an outlier, or an indication of the trend just taking a few days to develop. Does this mean Trump perhaps DID hurt himself with his general dickishness? Future polls will tell.

Donald Trump remains the leader in the race for the Republican presidential nomination, but his support has fallen by a third over the past week-and-a-half. Carly Fiorina is now near the front of the pack.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds Trump with 17% support among Likely Republican Primary Voters, down from 26% in late July before the first GOP debate.
