Here’s how modern policing works.

A cop decides you’ve dissed him or questioned his authority in the slightest way. He then begins to beat the shit out of you. As he pummels you in the face, you instinctively raise your arms to try to ward off the blows, to try to protect yourself. YOU ARE THEN CHARGED WITH “RESISTING ARREST” AND THE COP CLAIMS THAT’S WHY HE HAD TO BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF YOU. The cop instigates, and then charges you for reacting, which he claims justifies his instigation.

In other words, the cops have a right to beat the shit out of you. You do not have a right to resist having cops beat the shit out of you. Otherwise the cop will have to beat the shit out of you.

That is modern policing formula.
