One cop is able to bridge the gap with protesters in Ferguson. How does he do it? Does he yell and scream back at the protesters who are angry after the killing of an unarmed teenager and YEARS of abusive and racist tactics from the local police? Does he wave his gun around and expect everyone to treat him like the boss? Does he suit up like an invading military officer ready to kill nameless “hostiles”? Is he a bully behind the badge?

No.

He talks to them.
