James Brady, President Reagan’s press secretary who was permanently injured by an assassin’s bullet during the attempt on Reagan’s life in 1981, died earlier this week.
But Brady didn’t just die. He was murdered.
The medical examiner for the Northern District of Virginia ruled today that Brady died as a result of the wounds he suffered 33 years ago – ruling his death a homicide.
And that means John Hinckley Jr. could be charged with Brady’s murder.
