Meet the presidential candidate running on a Christian theocracy platform

He’s the Christian Party candidate.

Darrell Trigg wants to amend the Constitution to end the separation of church and state. The Tennessee engineer officially announced his candidacy for president Wednesday and will run on an explicitly Christian platform.

He says he would make Christianity the official religion of the U.S. and require mandatory K-12 Bible lessons for public school students. He also wants to end legal recognition of homosexuality and keep gays, nudity, strong sexual content, foul language and blasphemy off television.
